Israel and Palestine peace talks continue. And in the peace talks on C-SPAN TV, the main objective is how to obtain PEACE AND SAFETY for both Palestine and Israel, so they stop killing and warring against each other.
You see the dispute between Israel and Palestine stems from Abaham, as from:
Genesis 16:15
15 And Hagar bare Abram a son: and Abram called his son's name, which Hagar bare, Ishmael.
16 And Abram was fourscore and six years old, when Hagar bare Ishmael to Abram.
Genesis 25:6
6 But unto the sons of the concubines, which Abraham had, Abraham gave gifts, and sent them away from Isaac his son, while he yet lived, eastward, unto the east country.
Ishmael was the first born of Abraham, and therefor Ishmael's decendents think GOD ment Ishmael would be the father of many nations.
But the son GOD promised Abraham with his wife was Isaac. And Isaac is the true son of Abraham. And Ishmael was Abrahams son of a concubine. "or the son of one of his women servance"
And the wars between Israel and Palestine are but an old family fude, of who the first born of Abraham was, as GOD told Abraham. But Abraham had Ishmael first, and GOD intended it to be Isaac the first son born of Abraham and his wife. So as it is the descendants of Ishmael "Palestine" believe they are the chosen people. But infact the descendants of Isaac "Israel" are the chosen people. And it gets more complex.
Why does this matter?
Because of:
1 Thessalonians 4:16 thru Thess 5:4
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
1 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.
2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
Do you see? For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
And infact if you know your scriptures: In the old testement Daniel is show'n much about our time. Infact Daniel is show'n how the man of perdition comes in to being, and how he thinks.
Daniel 9:27
27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
And from here you may see: The covenant of peace will last for only one week.
So: For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them.
And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week.
So understand: You will have a one week warrning at the most about the new peace between Israel and Palestine.
Now when they say peace and safety, it most apparently will be a peace treaty reinforced by U.N. armaments, as described in Luke 21:20
Luke 21:20
20 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.
21 Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.
22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.
23 But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.
24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.
25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
And what will be the outcome of that peace treaty that ends in sudden destruction.
Zechariah 14:12
12 And this shall be the plague wherewith the LORD will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.
13 And it shall come to pass in that day, that a great tumult from the LORD shall be among them; and they shall lay hold every one on the hand of his neighbour, and his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbour.
14 And Judah also shall fight at Jerusalem; and the wealth of all the heathen round about shall be gathered together, gold, and silver, and apparel, in great abundance.
15 And so shall be the plague of the horse, of the mule, of the camel, and of the ass, and of all the beasts that shall be in these tents, as this plague.
16 And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.
And that war is what is known as Armageddon.
